Potent biological investigation into a new class of sulfone derivatives endowed with quinolinyl–cyclopropane analogue

Novel series of quinoline derivatives incorporating cyclopropyl ring and sulfone linkage as substituents have been synthesized, oxidation ethyl-2-cyclopropyl-4-(substituted phenylthio)quinoline-3-carboxylate was carried out to set phenyl sulfonyl)quinoline-3-carboxylate. An ecofriendly synthesis by the reaction glacial acetic acid 30% hydrogen peroxide at room temperature. The synthesized evaluated for their anticipated antimicrobial activity well characterized melting point, mass spectra, IR, 1H NMR 13C spectra. For proving structural biological activity, herein we SAR HOMO–LUMO studies. From these studies, found some best results energy gap is very low which makes higher, i.e. compounds 11a, 11b, 11h, 11k 11m.
